B&R Ranch – View Case
Deputies arrested a Virginia horseback riding instructor Wednesday for the alleged sexual assault of a student.
A Stafford County Grand Jury indicted Boris Gokovski, 64, of Fredericksburg on four counts of sexual battery in early July.
The indictment comes after an adult female riding student filed a complaint in May with the sheriff’s department alleging Gokovski sexually assaulted her. The abuse allegedly occurred at the B&R Ranch in late summer and early fall of 2016.
Gokovski is an owner of the B&R Ranch where he offers horse training and western horseback riding lessons. He is facing similar charges in another criminal case involving a minor horseback riding student.
A grand jury handed down a six-count indictment against Gokovski in May 2017. Deputies state the young female reported she was sexually assaulted by Gokovski. The alleged abuse happened last summer and fall at the Stafford County horse property.
Gokovski is facing two felony counts of an indecent act with a child and four misdemeanor counts of assault and battery in that case.
B&R Ranch also provides horse boarding and children’s camps. Gokovski and his wife operate a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Program for physically, mentally, and emotionally challenged children and adults, according to their website.
The PATH International site confirms B&R Ranch is a Member Center.
Deputies locked Gokovski up at the Rappahannock Regional Jail this week. He was released on a $5,000 secure bond.
