Tinker Ringing in Dollars for Charity

His size may be small, but Tinker is doing big things for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Christmas Campaign in Wisconsin.

The miniature horse rings his bell using his mouth under the supervision of his owner, Carol Takacs. She says there’s no funny business – no glue or tape – and that he actually knows how to ring the bell.

The 13 year-old mini’s absolute cuteness factor contributes not only to his fan base, but also to the donations his kettle receives. He reportedly brings in up to ten times more in funds than other bell ringers. This is great news for the those who will receive food, toys, and clothing from the funds during Christmas.

Possibly even more impressive are Tinker’s manners – he remembers to say thank you to all of those who gave so generously.
