A Michigan veterinarian is facing four felony counts for allegedly forging documents after her horse died.
Julie Rossetto, DVM is charged with two counts each of forgery and uttering and publishing, according to the criminal complaint.
Prosecutors allege Rossetto, of Fenton, created a fake Bill of Sale for her reining horse named CF Free Agent in the amount of $35,000. The horse’s previous owner allegedly told authorities the horse sold for $25,000 and a Bill of Sale was not provided to Rossetto.
